About the Role
Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper / House Manager
Location: Nashville, TN (Forest Hills area)
Schedule: 3 Days/Week | Flexible | There is a guaranteed 15 hours of pay / week
Compensation: $50 per hour DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Overview
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Household Care
Daily light cleaning (e.g., wiping high-touch surfaces, cleaning floors, dusting etc.)
Full cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and living spaces on a rotating basis
Laundry and ironing; managing dry cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups
Changing bed linens and making beds
Special deep-cleaning projects as needed (e.g., inside ovens, refrigerators, etc.)
Decluttering and organizing throughout the home (closets, kitchen, pantries, storage areas)
Maintain and rotate household inventory (cleaning supplies, pantry staples, linens, etc.)
Household Management
Work with Principal to coordinate and oversee vendors such as landscaping, pest control, and pool service
Maintain a comprehensive schedule of ongoing and upcoming household tasks and oversee regular maintenance (e.g., window washing, deep cleaning, etc.)
Communicate clearly with the Principal to stay aligned on schedules, needs, and household priorities
Receive, organize, and manage incoming packages and deliveries
Project Management & Property Oversight
Support seasonal transitions (e.g., rotating outdoor furniture)
Help plan and execute home organization projects or large-scale clean-outs/resets and general home projects
Provide on-site support during vendor appointments, deliveries, and projects
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in private residences
Professional, trustworthy, and discreet
A natural problem solver who takes pride in organization, efficiency, and cleanliness
Keen eye for detail
Dog lovers a plus
About Us
A kind and respectful Principal is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Part-Time Housekeeper / House Manager to help oversee their home in Forest Hills, TN. This role is ideal for someone self-motivated who enjoys taking ownership of a well-run, beautifully maintained household.
You’ll be responsible for both hands-on housekeeping and light household management tasks, working in close collaboration with the Principal. This is a beautiful single story home with a barn and pool house.
The household includes a friendly dog who may occasionally require light care and pet sitting. There is also the potential for a friendly, but somewhat independent, cat to join the home in November.
