About the Role
Job Title:: Housekeeper
Location: Palm Springs, CA
Schedule: 2 days / week + availability when principal is in town
Compensation: DOE
Start Date: ASAP
*client prefers to have a probationary period before paying on the higher scale
*Must pass an extensive background and credit check.
*Must provide multiple references
Requirements
Experience/Qualifications Required:
Candidate must have previously worked in a large-scale home or property (boutique hotel, inn, vacation homes, etc)
Familiarity with a high standard of service and hospitality
Someone who takes pride in the presentation and quality of their work
Housekeeper Duties & Responsibilities:
Properly clean and maintain the home
Responsible for grocery list (report to remote house manager - when stock is low, you will notify the house manager and also help them prep for when the principal arrives)
Responsible for all cleaning supply Inventory (report to house manager)
Responsible for restocking drinks and snack in the pantry
Responsible to monitor all food expiration dates (pantry and fridge)
Responsible for light cooking of lunch, dinner and occasional snacks when the principal is in town
Please note this is a home with varying dietary restrictions
About the Company
We are looking for an experienced housekeeper who will be responsible for maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the home by physically cleaning, doing laundry, maintaining stock, etc. They will also be responsible for preparing meals, shakes, snacks, etc. for the principal and children when they are in town.
High profile experience is heavily preferred; although not required.
Must be trustworthy and reliable.
