Schedule: TBD | Approx. 30 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours depending on workload – you will be guaranteed 30 hours of pay / week
Compensation: $35+ per hour DOE

Overview

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Household Care

  • Maintain a consistently organized home, ensuring everything has a designated place and is returned to their place

  • Perform daily light cleaning (i.e. wiping high-touch surfaces, cleaning floors, dusting, etc.)

  • Complete full cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and living areas on a rotating schedule in coordination with the weekly housekeeper

  • Laundry and ironing; manage dry-cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups

  • Change bed linens and make beds

  • Maintain organized closets and ensure clothing is clean, cared for, and properly stored

  • Declutter and organize closets, pantries, storage areas, and common spaces

  • Monitor, maintain, and rotate household inventory (i.e. cleaning supplies, pantry items, linens, toiletries, etc.)

Household Management

  • Coordinate with the Principal and Assistant to oversee household vendors (i.e. landscaping, pest control, HVAC, etc.)

  • Maintain a comprehensive schedule of ongoing and upcoming household tasks and oversee regular maintenance (i.e. window washing, filter changes, deep cleaning, seasonal upkeep, etc.)

  • Communicate proactively and clearly with the Principal regarding household needs, priorities, and schedules

  • Receive, organize, and manage high volume of incoming packages and deliveries

  • Create grocery lists, shop as needed, and maintain a running list of household items to be reordered

Project Management & Property Oversight

  • Support seasonal transitions (i.e. rotating outdoor furniture, season organization, etc.)

  • Assist with home organization projects, clean-outs, resets, and general household projects

  • Provide on-site support during vendor appointments, deliveries, and projects

About Us

A very busy, kind and respectful Principal is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Executive Housekeeper to oversee the day-to-day care and smooth operation of their home in Nashville, TN.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, takes pride in ownership, and genuinely enjoys maintaining a well-run, beautifully organized household. This is not a stepping-stone position — the ideal candidate is looking for a long-term role and takes deep satisfaction in both creating and maintaining order, peace, and functionality.

At its core, this position is about ensuring the home remains a calm, organized, and welcoming sanctuary for the Principal. The home serves as both a living and working space and should consistently feel safe, intentional, and well cared for.

You will be responsible for hands-on housekeeping as well as light household management, working closely with the Principal and their Assistant. An additional housekeeper comes once per week for deeper cleaning; you will manage the day-to-day upkeep of the home and collaborate with them when they are on-site. The home includes friendly dogs, so a genuine love of dogs is essential. Occasional pet care, house sitting, and related support may be requested. This role is perfect for someone who is warm, nurturing, and finds genuine joy in supporting others through their work.
